      Description

      We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Monitoring System Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Rotronic Monitoring System (RMS) to ensure compliance and efficiency in regulated industries, particularly in Life Sciences. The Regional Sales Manager, will require the person to work in a dynamic environment performing a multitude of tasks and roles including leading the RMS Project Sales for North America, satisfying service requirements, selling and servicing new/existing customers, backup support of other functions and close cooperation with internal and external team members. This role will need to have an entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to manage the competing priorities of a growing business.

      Key Responsibilities
      • Providing exemplary customer service/relationship management
      • Technical selling in a solution provider orientated environment
      • Take ownership of customer's issues and follow problems through to resolution. Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
      • Product lead and Application support for the environment monitoring system - RMS
      • Learning and understanding Rotronic's complete product offering
      • Perform sales visits either with Rotronic sales staff or distributors sales staff, expected travel is 50%
      • Accomplish targeted performance objectives on a consistent basis. Objectives could include sales growth, service growth, customer visits and RMS sales in addition to customer satisfaction
      • Work with external sales to provide necessary information regarding services and products
      • Actively participate in various marketing campaigns and objectives
      • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions
      • Work closely with the internal team members and external Sales to ensure high customer satisfaction
      • Support other functions of Rotronic as the business needs and priorities change


      Requirements

      Skills Required:
      • Proven working experience as a sales manager
      • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive "can-do" attitude over the phone and in person
      • Own the prospecting process by consistently identifying, qualifying, and initiating contact with potential customers in key target markets.
      • Demonstrates capability to strategically plan to meet deadlines and future company needs
      • Possesses strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
      • Strong Technical aptitude
      • IT and networking experience
      • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and other Windows based applications
      • Experience in Industrial product sales or sales support an asset

      Experience & Education Requirements:
      • Minimum 10-15 years' experience in a technical, solution providing environment
      • Technical Degree


      Salary Description

      $75,000 - $95,000 Annually, plus quarterly bonus
