- Develop and execute Distributor and Contractor Programs, including:
- Delivering training initiatives for distributors, contractors, and end-users.
- Conducting joint sales calls with distributors.
- Maintaining and updating the CRM database regularly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for various clients within the territory.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with contractors, end-users, engineers, and distributors.
- Provide feedback to Product Management on emerging market needs and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with DSMs and NAMs to support regional business development initiatives.
- Partner with DSMs, NAMs, and Application Engineers to:
- Conduct joint customer calls.
- Host and participate in seminars and training sessions.
- Share competitive insights with Marketing to refine product positioning and differentiation.
- Actively follow up on new leads and establish robust relationships across the territory.
- Ensure CRM systems are consistently updated with project and account data.
- Conduct bi-weekly account reviews with distribution partners to assess targets and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with internal sales teams to achieve high-value opportunities and consistently meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise and Broadband markets.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Technical expertise in fiber and copper cabling standards for horizontal and backbone networks.
- Proven ability to navigate complex requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with CRM tools to manage and interpret sales data effectively.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant premises industry experience and/or training.
- Familiarity with the designated territory and established contacts is required for immediate success in uncovering and developing opportunities.
- Must hold a valid passport and willingness to travel are required.
- BICSI RCDD, OSP, or DCDC certification preferred but not required.
