What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and present the regional annual business plan for Specification to senior management.
- Manage and develop employees in the assigned region, establishing performance standards and providing feedback.
- Conduct sales presentations for specifiers, contracts, and agents to drive sales.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership and product managers to enhance sales volume and product mix.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with decision-makers in the sales process, including architects and contractors.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or BA from an accredited university; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in the Lighting/Electrical Industry, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of specification experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the electrical and lighting industry, including product and market understanding.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in developing agency salespeople to maximize sales efforts.
- Proven ability to foster collaboration and innovation within teams.
- Knowledge of CSI sections 25 and 26.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in lighting technology and design.
