What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and lead Specialty Account Managers and Senior Specialty Account Managers within the region
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business potential for the region
- Maintain effective communication among team members and provide coaching on selling skills and product knowledge
- Conduct performance reviews and manage performance-related issues in coordination with Human Resources
- Monitor compliance with laws, policies, and procedures within the region
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate teams while leading through change
- Knowledge of products, disease states, and reimbursement programs affecting providers
- Effective planning and resource utilization skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary, including frequent overnight and/or weekend travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Specialty sales leadership experience and product reimbursement experience
- Proficiency in software such as Tableau and Veeva, with the ability to coach the team on analytical tools
