Job Description

Our Regional Sortation Centre Manager is looking for an outstanding Regional Sortation Manager (General Manager level) to join their senior management team at our brand new, state of the art site at London Docklands. As our Regional Sortation Manager you will have the autonomy and responsibility for the day to day management and you'll be responsible for leading, motivating and developing your operations team.

Additionally you’ll also be focussed on;

• Achieving all Regional Sortation Centre objectives to include; Health & Safety, productivity, security, throughput, and cost.
• Delivering outstanding service to our customers with a team driven to be the best they can be.
• Leadership of the Regional Sortation Centre team including, learning and development and any HR related issues.
• Managing P&L through effective planning and reporting.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• You’ll know the logistics or distribution industry and have experience of running large, fast paced, 24/7 operations with responsibility for a significant number of staff
• You will be a confident communicator/presenter with the skills to lead and manage teams as well as influence strategy and liaise with our Directors
• A person capable of decisive and effective decision-making, in a time pressured environment
• A passion for building and motivating high-performing teams
• Someone that really enjoys resolving problems and demonstrates high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
