      Salary: $145,000- $155,000 plus bonus

      Location: Remote with ability to travel. Region will be West Coast focused

      Work Performed:

      The Regional Vice President, Human Resources will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

      • Drive stakeholders to action as it relates to human resource management strategies in support of company values and strategies;
      • Collaborate with Regional & Corporate team members to effectuate optimal outcomes impacting operational capabilities, associate engagement & retention, compensation, talent development, etc.;
      • Facilitate adherence to property HR processes and standards to ensure accordance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements;
      • Provide counsel in employee relations issues, partnering with Corporate Legal when necessary;
      • Support field operational stakeholders to resolve questions, concerns or issues on HR related topics;
      • Provide ongoing leadership, guidance, and development to the field ADHRs and other HR leaders as their matrix, functional manager;
      • Participate in business planning and goal setting for their assigned business units/region in partnership with Regional team members;
      • Identify best practices and share thought leadership that could enhance or improve existing processes, procedures, and/or technology;
      • Identify gaps related to HR skills or knowledge and formulate strategies to address in order to achieve improved results;
      • Drive accountability with direct reports and coach other stakeholders in this area, as needed, leveraging best practices and company accountability resources & processes;
      • Build relationships across HR COEs and Corporate Departments that promote efficiency and support achievement of goals;
      • Collaborate with executive leadership to execute the organization’s Core Values, tactics and operational strategies;

      Prior Experience Required:

      • Residency Requirement: Candidates must currently reside no further east than Texas. This is essential to ensure proximity to our West Coast operations and to maintain reasonable commute times to our California headquarters.
      • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations.
      • Industry: Minimum 5 years of Hospitality HR experience
      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
      • Skills: Demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, talent management, employee relations, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
      • California Labor Law: In-depth knowledge of California labor laws and regulations is essential. This includes understanding and applying wage and hour laws, employee leave laws, and other state-specific employment regulations.
      • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the West Coast region up to 50% of the time.
