What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform telephone triage with a diverse patient population
- Assess needed care and collaborate with patients to provide clinical solutions
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in an untraditional nursing environment
- Actively participate in team conferences and assess patient education needs
- Notify practices and leadership of operational concerns and patient encounters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required
- BSN preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state required
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience
- Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics, and ED triage is desired
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Triage experience preferred
- Ability to adapt communication to fit patient audience
- Critical thinking skills and ability to concentrate in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with diverse patient populations
