      •1x Full-time role

      •1x Part-time role, 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday)

      Location : Principally office based in Pyrmont, Sydney with some hybrid working arrangements.

      These roles sit within various teams in the Operations and Service Delivery directorate within the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM).

      About the Registry
      The NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages is an agency within the NSW Department of Customer Service. The Registry was formed in 1856 to register life events in NSW accurately and securely for all time. This includes the registration of births, deaths and marriages and official changes of name and sex.

      About the team
      These roles sit within Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) in the Operations & Service Delivery Directorate. Provides a range of Registry administrative services, including but not limited to responding to client enquiries, data entry, records management, compliance checks, and performing registrations to support customer service.

      The responsibilities for this role:
      •Support the efficient operation of the Registry, including liaising effectively with a wide range of clients and stakeholders to provide high quality customer service.
      •Provide a high level of clerical and administrative support to the Registry, to enable the accurate and efficient processing of birth, death, marriage and relationship registrations.
      •Support the review and assessment of legal documents from national and international sources and verify statutory declarations and supporting evidence to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
      •Undertake various tasks including data entry and assisting with making payments to support the effective operations of the business.
      •Update and maintain records, registers and files, databases, complying with records management processes, ensuring information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.

      Salary Grade 1/2, with the base salary for this role starting at $73,522 base plus superannuation
