Reimbursement Case Manager
Location
Remote‑US | Must be available between 8am–8pm ESTRole Impact
Join a team helping patients navigate complex reimbursement systems and access vital therapies. As a Case Manager, you’ll serve as a key advocate and liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacie; supporting timely, accurate case handling in a fully remote, fast-paced setting.Key Responsibilities
• Manage patient and provider inquiries as the primary point of contact
• Conduct benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals
• Guide enrollment in patient assistance and copay programs
• Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with HIPAA
• Coordinate with providers, insurers, and internal departments to ensure case progression
• Report Adverse Events per SOP and training standardsMinimum Qualifications
• 3+ years of specialty pharmacy experience and/or 3+ years of medical benefits reimbursement experience (MUST)
• Knowledge of HIPAA and reimbursement processes (MUST)
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and case documentation systems
• Available to work any shift between 8am–8pm EST (MUST)Core Tools & Systems
• CRM/case management platforms
• MS Excel
• MS Word
• Phone queue systems
• HIPAA-compliant data toolsPreferred Skills
• Bachelor’s degree
• Medicare and Medicaid experience as it relates to government insurance payers
• Background in specialty pharmacy or reimbursement hub environmentsCompensation & Schedule
• $18–20/hour
• 3–6 month contract (W2)
