      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Resolve insurance claims for laboratory test services requiring medical record documentation
      - Communicate with ordering clinicians and their staff to obtain necessary patient medical records
      - Analyze received records to ensure all required documentation is included and secure any missing information
      - Prepare medical record cover letters and submit documentation to demonstrate medical necessity
      - Create custom submission letters to support claim processing according to payer policies and regulations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent, GED, or equivalent work experience
      - Minimum of two years of health insurance billing experience, including reviewing medical records
      - In-depth experience reading and interpreting medical record documents and payer medical policies
      - Experience handling a high volume of claims work (32 plus claims per day)
      - Ability to type 35 WPM with 90% or higher accuracy

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a role focused on medical records and insurance claims processing
      - Familiarity with CMS medical documentation requirements and state laws related to medical claims
