      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Initiate and manage prior authorizations for high-cost medications via phone, fax, or electronic means
      - Conduct benefit investigations and coordinate Patient Assistance Programs for patients
      - Collaborate with nursing and physicians to obtain necessary documentation for authorizations and billing
      - Arrange medication refills, transfers, and deliveries while updating patient case management systems
      - Serve as a Pharmacy Technician when required, assisting with various pharmacy tasks

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
      - Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
      - Minimum of one (1) year previous pharmacy practice experience in a similar setting
      - Minimum of three (3) years prior experience with Manufacturers Patient Assistance Programs and online prescription adjudication
      - High School Diploma or equivalent

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associates Degree in Business or related field from an accredited program
