What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Clean, review, and submit claims for behavioral health providers, specifically autism providers
- Track claim statuses and follow up on unpaid claims proactively
- Manage patient responsibility invoices, including co-insurance and co-pays
- Analyze EOBs and post manual payments to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with the Billing Manager and local clinic team to ensure accurate billing practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or BA degree in Finance, Accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in revenue cycle management or medical billing
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in healthcare within revenue cycle management or medical billing
- 1 to 3+ years of experience working with Medicaid and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) in the medical billing process
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and deadlines
