What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and conduct financial reviews to ensure charge capture accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Ensure accurate clinical charges, descriptions, and billing codes in the charge master
- Manage compliance with pricing policies and perform annual and ongoing price changes
- Lead revenue enhancement projects and collaborate with the denials management team
- Communicate routine changes to coding, billing, and clinical departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related discipline
- CPC, RHIT, or RHIA certification, or in pursuit thereof
- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience with EPIC CDM, EAP, and coding for HB and PB
- 5 years of coding/billing experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Strong understanding of CPT/HCPC coding and charge methodology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing Charging Certification or EPIC Resolute Professional Billing Revenue Integrity preferred
- Additional experience in revenue cycle management or related fields
