What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and co-sign treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation created by associate therapists
- Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Conduct regular audits to assess documentation quality and identify improvement areas
- Collaborate with leadership to address documentation quality and compliance issues
- Maintain accurate records of documentation reviews and generate quality reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in New York and hold an active LMHC or LCSW license
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology)
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Previous experience in behavioral health or therapy documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states served by the employer
- Enjoyment of technology and adaptability to new systems
- Experience providing documentation coaching to therapists
