Remote work will not be permitted from any other state at this time

      The Lead Application Analyst III position is responsible for expert-level support and configuration of assigned applications. The position entails assisting, training, and supporting customers and other Application Analysts with the operation and administration of systems. The Lead Application Analyst III trains and mentors the associate and intermediate positions. The Lead Application Analyst III works with customers at all levels in the organization to enhance their understanding of available tools to enhance operational efficiencies. The Lead Application Analyst III proactively manages and troubleshoots issues within related Technology teams and manages change. The Lead Application Analyst III provides high-level administration of applications and ensures quality delivery of application availability. The Lead Application Analyst III is cross-trained and proficient in multiple applications

      Responsibilities

      • Demonstrates accountability in delivering the assigned task. Reports project issues and accomplishments to the application manager.
      • Delivers a work product that meets project requirements defined by the scope and stays within departmental guidelines for application configuration/development.
      • Analyzes and documents current and future needs and workflows through interviews and gathering data regarding regulatory requirements, operational procedures, and hospital/departmental policies.
      • Participates in the conversations in the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, support, and evaluation of clinical or business application systems as assigned. These activities may include system design, documentation of design decisions, workflow redesign and documentation, data collection, database building, testing, and troubleshooting.
      • Contributes/Takes instructions in team and project meetings. Works closely with team/department members.
      • Learns, develops, and maintains competency in the assigned application or technical area.
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers and Epic team members to deliver solutions.
      • Experience with requirement collection, validation, and definition of workflow, design, build, and testing of Epic.
      • Other duties as assigned


      Education
      • Bachelor's Degree - Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or 5 years related experience working as a licensed clinical or certified IT professional - Required


      Work Experience
      • 5 Years - 5+ years experience in IT or clinical business workflow - Required
      • Experience supporting clinical, ancillary, or business environments - Required
      • Application system build experience required - Required


      Licenses and Certifications
      • Epic Certifications - current EPIC certification(s) or accreditation required upon hire or

        achieved within 120 days of hire
      • If certification or accreditation not achieved upon hire must be willing to travel or actively participate in remote training; caregiver allowed 3 attempts to complete certification exam - Required Upon Hire


      Travel Requirements
      • Travel to off site locations may be required. - Required

      Essential Physical Requirements
      • Ability to work at a desk for a major part of the workday using an online computer terminal and/or a personal computer and a telephone.
      • Ability to manipulate manuals, printed output, memos, periodicals, mail, and written requests.
      • Ability to attend meetings at sites other than the normal workplace (on a different floor or in a different building).

      • Adequate hearing to understand verbal information and use a telephone.


      Exposure to Hazards
      • Physical hazard of electrical shock is present when working with electrically powered devices.
      • The job carries a high degree of stress stemming from the need to meet demands and provide a customer-oriented service to the end users.
      • Eye and neck strain.
