What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and analyze financial models to support ESOP valuations and transactions
- Conduct variance analysis, risk assessments, and forecasting to refine financial projections
- Prepare client-facing deliverables, presenting a clear narrative of company performance and market trends
- Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to maintain efficient information workflows
- Partner with legal teams to align ESOP operations with organizational goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in ESOP financial feasibility modeling & valuation
- Proficiency in financial modeling, including DCF and other valuation methodologies
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in ESOP transactions, valuations, or related financial engagements
- Certified Valuation Analyst credential or equivalent
- Knowledge of ERISA regulations as it relates to Employee Stock Ownership Plans
- Knowledge of ESOP-specific compliance requirements
- Background in commercial banking as it relates to ESOP lending
