What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to incoming claims calls and log data into the proprietary medical bill review system
- Provide explanations of benefits, services, and claims/reimbursement procedures
- Interface professionally with providers, patients, billing services, and insurance adjusters
- Assist in explaining services and claims information to medical providers and patients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to train and work in a remote environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of prior customer service experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with customer interactions and various applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- No prior medical insurance experience required, but willingness to learn is essential
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to learn basic medical terminology
- Weekday schedule flexibility
