What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, and end users through calls and visits
- Provide technical consultation to customers regarding electrical solution needs and boost order profitability by upselling
- Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with leadership and Outside Sales
- Prepare quotes and follow up on projects to meet monthly budget goals
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer transactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a related role
- Experience in the electrical industry and business-to-business sales
- Strong negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer and data entry skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with electrical solutions and products
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role
- Knowledge of sales management software or CRM systems
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
