What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review doctor's schedule for daily appointments and verify patient dental benefits for insurance coverage
- Provide a complete breakdown of dental coverage to patients
- Collaborate with operations teams at dental offices to locate missing insurance information
- Work with billing teams on dental plans that have limited coverage or changes
- Perform additional duties as assigned while maintaining effective communication with the team and doctors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma
- Previous administrative or office experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Skilled in building and maintaining effective working relationships with payers and the operations team
- Proficient in scanning and filing records into electronic dental charts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a dental office setting or with dental insurance verification processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
