      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Process refunds to patient and insurance accounts while preparing daily credit balance reports
      - Maintain knowledge of Managed Care Contracts and Federal payors to ensure compliance
      - Analyze accounts using various computer systems and databases to identify discrepancies
      - Communicate refund issues with the Reimbursement Manager/Supervisor as needed
      - Research credit balance accounts to determine overpayments and validate refund requests

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable in a hospital or medical setting
      - Familiarity with Managed Care Contracts and Federal programs preferred
      - Knowledge of payer reimbursement policies and healthcare revenue cycle operations
      - Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), billing software, and reimbursement systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 1-3 years of experience working with Managed Care Contracts
      - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
      - Effective communication and collaboration skills with payers and internal teams
      - Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare reimbursement standards
