      Job Description
      As a Licensing Technician for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, your work becomes a direct line of protection for some of the Commonwealth's most vulnerable residents.       Responsibilities

      As a Licensing Technician, you will be responsible for:

      • Conducting comprehensive program and information system analysis.
      • Assisting in the execution of enforcement orders.
      • Coordinating inspections of licensed facilities and meetings with licensing personnel.
      • Overseeing the fines management system and conducting on-site inspections.
      • Coordinating referrals and liaising with law enforcement agencies for criminal investigations.
      • Reviewing incident reports and assigning priority levels to complaints.
      • Designing and conducting research studies pertaining to licensed settings.
      • Assisting with data entry and data analysis.
      • Generating weekly and monthly reports utilizing data collection methods.
      • Ensuring data integrity through regular monitoring of database systems.
      • Reviewing, analyzing, and suggesting revisions to policies and regulations.
      • Coordinating information technology applications to support program operations.
      • Providing guidance, direction, and technical support to office staff.


      Requirements

      Requirements

      Educational and Work Experience Requirements:

      • A Bachelor's degree in a health or human services-related field (e.g., Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Physician, EMT) OR
      • An Associate's Degree in a health or human services-related field AND a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field OR
      • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a health or human services-related field demonstrating the ability to perform the described duties and essential functions.
