What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide engineering design and support for security solutions for new and existing clients
- Utilize Revit as the primary design tool, with CAD proficiency (AutoCAD) for certain projects
- Review architectural, electrical, and security engineering plans and drawings
- Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, and repairs
- Create solution design documentation, including drawings and BOMs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3-7 years of previous experience in the electronic security industry
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in designing and planning access control and video systems
- Professional Electronic Security Certifications or training preferred (e.g., Lenel, Genetec)
- Strong understanding of standard electronic security technology such as ACS, IDS, CCTV
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with emerging electronic security technologies and industry-leading vendors
- Knowledge of networking infrastructure and databases related to security systems
- Familiarity with technical assistance in responding to RFI/RFP documentation
- Proven ability to support management in technology implementation processes
