What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist patients in obtaining coverage for prescription medications
- Manage inbound and outbound calls to patients, guarantors, payers, and payees
- Utilize call center software for account research and note updates
- Place calls to insurance companies to address patient needs
- Adhere to call center metrics and comply with HIPAA regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have at least 1 year of recent call center experience
- Previous experience in insurance verification is required
- Must have a quiet home workspace to perform duties effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience handling high-volume calls
- Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to learn new software and navigate multiple screens
- Access to high-speed internet with modem (mobile hotspots are not accepted)
