What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess the needs of callers seeking 211 assistance and provide crisis intervention and referral services
- Deliver empathetic and supportive service while utilizing problem-solving and de-escalation techniques
- Accurately document all client interactions using approved software in compliance with agency standards
- Conduct follow-up with at-risk callers to ensure continuity of care and assess outcomes
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and maintain ongoing training requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, social work, human services, or a related field
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and remote communication tools
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and overnight shifts as scheduled

- Familiarity with community resources
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) is a plus
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion in assisting individuals in distress
