What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical assistance and customer service remotely via phone, email, or chat
- Maintain accountability for all consumers within the assigned setting and document their actions
- Implement goals and behavior management plans, ensuring consumer needs are met
- Administer medications and maintain cleanliness in the unit
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and conduct monthly fire drills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, and CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle for up to 15 passengers
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and mobility assistance
- Subject to annual TB testing and adherence to safety protocols
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in direct care or support services for individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of assistive/enabling technology
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
