What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Travel to sponsored buying events, negotiate pricing, and purchase valuable items such as jewelry, diamonds, and fine art
- Deliver excellent customer service to sponsors and customers while efficiently closing sales
- Accurately identify and describe items for online auction resale
- Follow company processes for buying policies and customer experience standards
- Attend training sessions at headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience buying and/or appraising jewelry or other estate items
- Ability to travel independently at least 30 weeks per year on 4-5 consecutive day trips
- Strong visual acuity to focus closely on and identify fine print and hallmarks
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license, Real ID, and valid Passport upon hire
- Exceptional customer service skills in a fast-paced environment
