      Interview Process: 1 round, Teams interview
      Duration of the Contract: 12 Months
      Possibility for Extension: No
      Work Location: Role is 100% remote. Resource will be required to be onsite Day 1 and 2 of the assignment to receive equipment, system access, ID cards, badges and training. Then they will be required to travel onsite as required, approximately once per quarter for a minimum of 4 days, possibly the full week per visit.

      DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
      During this assignment, the financial business analyst will report to the dep functional manager to provide status updates on assigned tasks. The resource should be able to work independently with minimum guidance to enhance the current application's user interface to be interactive and self-guided primarily in financial areas of Child Support Application.
      Primary Responsibilities
      • Work closely with the dep Functional Manager and Business Analysts to identify areas for improvement within PACSS and deliver practical, actionable recommendations.
      • Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points.
      • Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with business requirements.
      • Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities within PACSS.
      • Design self-guiding workflows, including guided navigation, tooltips, and contextual assistance, for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments.
      • Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards, contextual help, and automated guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs.
      • Conduct stakeholder interviews as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of South Carolina business processes.
      • Collaborate with other Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and provide general assistance during testing activities.
      • Participate in regular functional meetings focused on user-reported issues, enhancements, and bug triage to review progress, discuss solutions, and align on priorities.
      REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
      • Experience working as a Financial Business Analyst in more than one Child Support Systems
      • Experience working with financial operations (such as receipts, distribution, disbursements, recoupment, and/or reconciliation) in more than one Child Support System
      • Experience in system designing and developing processes for complex workflows

      PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
      • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager
      • Experience with SQL query skills to extract, validate and interpret data for decision making
      • Experience with Sharepoint
      REQUIRED EDUCATION:
      • BS Degree or equivalent work experience.

      ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
      • Proficiency in MS Office suite
