What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write clean, efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data in BigQuery and other relational environments
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and recurring reports in Looker and Power BI
- Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and data mismatches, taking proactive steps to resolve inaccuracies
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, product, finance, and engineering to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 1-2 years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field
- Strong SQL experience, including JOINS, CTEs, subqueries, and aggregate functions
- Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot data mismatches with a critical eye for detail
- Experience with Power BI and/or Looker (LookML is a plus)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Healthcare experience
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
- Understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT best practices
- DevOps experience and strong documentation habits
