What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and document the status of accounts and initiate telephone contact with customers and repossession agents
- Conduct consumer data entry
- Handle impound repossession procedures
- Prepare correspondences on delinquent accounts requiring special handling
- Establish and monitor payment plans
- Review and make recommendations for repossessions
- Adhere to all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls specific to the job functions
- Answer incoming customer or vendor communications
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday 10:30 am - 7 pm Eastern
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two (2) years of collections experience in a high-volume call center environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven ability to generate successful contact with past-due customers
- Intermediate proficiency with Windows-based software programs (i.e. MS Word, Excel)
- Solid analytical and multi-tasking skills resulting in solid decision-making and time management
- Ability to easily manage through change
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior credit reporting experience preferred
