      ACERTUS is the only tech-enabled automotive logistics company to move, store, recondition, title & register finished vehicles. As a Repossession Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for managing repossession agent “agent” relationships, negotiating agent contracts, handling agent escalation issues, and managing agent-oriented initiatives on behalf of ACERTUS.

      Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

      Pay: $75,000 - $95,000/year. Based on Experience

      This position can be full remote as well. Must be willing to travel from time to time.

      What you will be doing:

      • Ensure vendors operate under compliance guidelines and regulations.
      • Identify and onboard new agents based upon internal need.
      • Agent issue/conflict resolution.
      • Serve as a key point of contact through written and verbal communication with the agent network to identify issues and develop relationships.
      • Manage client and agent damage claims.
      • Assist in projects and initiatives that provide for continuous improvement.
      • Support management and additional business initiatives as assigned.
      • Provide internal reporting based upon company needs and cadence requirements.
      • Supervise, train, and develop Vendor Management partners.
      • Evaluate the Vendor Management Team for individual performance through metrics and communication with partners.
      • Determine workforce need and work with internal partners to hire accordingly.
      • Assist with client and regulatory agency audits.
      • Assist with the development and improvement of departmental policies, procedures, and processes.

      What are we looking for?

      • Must have 3-5 years of management experience.
      • Previous experience in repossessions and managing repossession agents preferred.
      • Previous contract negotiation experience preferred.
      • Knowledge of internal and external tools and other resources that may benefit the team and agent network.
      • Intermediate to expert knowledge of relevant spreadsheet and documentation programs.
      • Intermediate to expert knowledge of reporting functions and tools.
      • PC Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
      • Personal responsibility to manage change.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills including expert level negotiation skills.
      • Strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills.
      • The ideal candidate will have pre-established and deep connections with the repossession agent community in the United States.
