Job Description

- Look after the RM process across major NR signalling projects, such as C3R, F2G, HS2, etc.
- Act as the UK Process Correspondent and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Alstom RM process.
- Ensure the appropriate level of RM process is applied based on project size, complexity, and risk.
- Manage a team of Requirements Engineers, providing guidance, direction, and support in RM activities.
- Serve as the lead and point of contact for all projects regarding requirements management.
- Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and subcontractors to define RM specifications and scope of work.
- Grow the RM team, manage competency, workload demand, resourcing, budget, and performance.
- Degree or equivalent Engineering Qualification
- Use of DOORS
- Knowledge of V life cycle
- UK Process Correspondent and SME for the Alstom RM process.
- Strong experience in applying RM techniques and tools in a project environment.
- Previous experience managing a team of Requirements Engineers.
- Ability to manage suppliers, clients, and subcontractors in relation to RM activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player

Could you be the full-time Requirements Manager in Derby we’re looking for?
Your Future Role:
As the Requirements Management Team Lead, you will oversee the full requirements management process during project implementation and product development, ensuring compliance with the NR GRIP Process and Alstom's internal requirements management (RM) process. You will manage a team of Requirements Engineers, providing technical supervision, guidance, and direction. Additionally, you will contribute to the bid and tender phases for requirements management on projects and manage team resources across multiple projects following contract award. Liaising with the requirements of the global community, you will ensure a consistent approach is applied across all sites and support the achievement of CMMI targets.This role will be based in Derby with occasional travel to London/Hatfield sites as needed.
