What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare routine billings to external sponsors for sponsored agreements in accordance with the sponsor's requirements
- Gather supporting documents in response to requests from sponsors and external auditors
- Communicate tactfully with sponsors to inquire about the status of payments due
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines
- Draft financial reports to initiate grant close-out
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or four (4) years of related experience if no degree
- Must be detail-oriented with a compliance-driven mindset
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience working in a research academic setting or comparable environment
