What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee and manage the research administration process, ensuring compliance with proposal guidelines
- Prepare and submit grant proposals, including budgeting and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with faculty and staff on pre-award and post-award activities
- Monitor and manage complex budgets, ensuring timely expenditures and reconciliation of funds
- Serve as a liaison for grant-related inquiries and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
- Relevant experience of 4 years, with at least 2 years in grants administration
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree
- Knowledge of S2S and SUBS systems
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Experience with regulatory compliance and grant administration
- Familiarity with IBM Cognos Analytics
