What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead research initiatives to identify regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Develop and update hospital policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to implement and enforce policies
- Prepare reports and documentation for accreditation bodies and regulatory agencies
- Provide training and education to staff on new and updated policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree required (experience can be substituted for degree)
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 5-7 years in healthcare policy development, compliance, regulatory affairs, or accreditation
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
