What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform specialized and complex experiments in marine and atmospheric studies
- Participate in the publication of significant research results
- Collect, prepare, analyze, dissect, and evaluate specimens and tissue cultures
- Operate sensitive and highly complex laboratory equipment
- Write extramural proposals to gain support for research initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Technical proficiency in using office software and relevant computer applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in marine or atmospheric research
- Familiarity with laboratory animal handling and anesthesia
- Previous involvement in publishing research findings
