What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct a variety of sophisticated experiments using novel techniques and equipment
- Ensure compliance with institutional lab requirements and protocols
- Assist the Principal Investigator with experimental design and publication efforts
- Supervise and train laboratory personnel, including medical and graduate students
- Manage logistics for experiments, including inventory and biosafety compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cancer biology or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong writing and communication skills in English
- Ability to handle and care for animals, along with technical expertise in research protocols
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a scientific field
- Experience in a laboratory setting relevant to translational and basic research activities
- Additional computer proficiency and familiarity with research applications
