      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead executive and developmental editing for ACEEE publications and other written products
      - Manage the editorial calendar for major research publications, coordinating timelines across teams
      - Provide author support by coaching on planning, drafting, revising, and responding to review comments
      - Write and rewrite blogs, web pages, and other content that communicates ACEEE's findings
      - Oversee a pool of contract editors, including onboarding, training, and performance reviews

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Excellent writing and editing skills for complex research and policy content
      - Minimum of five years of professional experience in writing and editing, preferably in a research or policy organization
      - Strong project management skills, including oversight of an editorial calendar and cross-team review processes
      - Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
      - Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with staff at all levels

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience editing content related to energy, climate, environment, economics, or public policy
      - Familiarity with emerging topics such as energy and climate implications of data centers and artificial intelligence
      - Experience working in or with mission-driven nonprofits, think tanks, or research organizations
