What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement machine learning algorithms for personalization and recommendations
- Create scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions from concept to deployment
- Optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability to meet diverse global user needs
- Design and conduct offline experiments and A/B tests to evaluate algorithmic impacts on business metrics
- Contribute to the improvement of machine learning infrastructure and tooling
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in applying machine learning in an industrial setting with proven results
- PhD or Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms and frameworks, with hands-on experience in production environments
- Proficient in software design and development using Python, along with familiarity in Scala, Java, C++, or C#
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience building or enhancing personalization systems or large-scale machine learning applications
- Background in neural networks, natural language processing, or causal inference
- Contributions to open-source projects in machine learning or related fields
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
