What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide research and library services across various DoD contracting policy areas
- Interface directly with clients to deliver research in multiple formats, including reports and white papers
- Conduct academic research and create detailed reports while adhering to strict deadlines
- Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to enhance research projects
- Deliver products to clients through various channels, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of professional library experience, including supervision and management
- Master of Library Science (MLS) or Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution
- Direct experience with scientific and technical reference work and online databases
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate and collaborate effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional experience supporting governmental library and research services
- Previous experience with DoD contracting
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
