What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate clinical research activities for studies in the Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism division
- Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate clinical research activities
- Maintain compliance with good clinical practice and research protocols
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure successful research outcomes
- Conduct physical assessments as appropriate for the patient population served
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Relevant coursework or specialized training in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including experience with complex protocols and clinical research
- Current Nebraska RN license or eligibility for licensure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator (C.D.E.) or willingness to obtain certification
- Familiarity with Diabetes and/or Endocrine studies
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Past clinical research skills and knowledge
