      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform end-to-end data processing including demultiplexing, quality trimming, and alignment/quantification
      - Build and validate spatial barcode maps for Pixel-seq and conduct error correction
      - Conduct segmentation and quality control using tools like Cellpose and maintain curated masks
      - Execute downstream single-cell and spatial analysis, including normalization and clustering
      - Implement and maintain reproducible workflows using Snakemake or Nextflow

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or Electrical and Computer Engineering
      - Minimum of one year of relevant experience in computational biology or bioinformatics
      - Proficiency in programming with Python (numpy/pandas), basic R, and bash; familiarity with Git and Linux
      - Experience in NGS data processing, including BCL to FASTQ demultiplexing and quality control
      - Knowledge of spatial omics concepts and the creation of spatially annotated data objects

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with probabilistic modeling techniques such as scVI or totalVI
      - Familiarity with GPU usage for segmentation and model inference using PyTorch/CUDA
      - Background in data stewardship and monitoring tools like DVC or Prometheus/Grafana
      - Coursework or research experience in biochemistry or genetics
      - Experience collaborating with IT on server upgrades and high-throughput data management
