What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and histology procedures
- Collect, document, and analyze data with attention to detail
- Participate in the on-call Rapid Autopsy Program, providing timely assistance as needed
- Collaborate with faculty and research staff to support ongoing research projects
- Manage laboratory chemical inventory and ensure safety compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in basic biological sciences with at least two years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of cell culture techniques
- Basic experience in molecular biology, including RNA and DNA isolation, realtime PCR, and western blot analysis
- Experience working with mice in a laboratory setting
- Familiarity with data compilation software, such as Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in processing tissue samples is a plus but not mandatory
