      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare media, reagents, and glassware for laboratory research, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization for culture growth
      - Order laboratory supplies, maintain inventory, and liaise with vendors for pricing and purchasing
      - Provide experimental support to Research Scientist/Engineers and troubleshoot experimental protocols
      - Attend and present at departmental seminars and meetings, summarizing data for colleagues
      - Maintain detailed records of experiments performed and analyze results to develop data-informed conclusions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or Chemistry
      - Less than one year of experience in a related field
      - Ability to work independently and follow written protocols meticulously
      - Strong math and language skills
      - Basic computer knowledge required, including word processing and spreadsheet applications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in laboratory techniques such as preparation of reagents and media
      - Familiarity with recombinant DNA research, including cloning and mutagenesis
      - Knowledge of genetic crosses and construction of recombinant yeast strains
      - Experience in protein biochemistry techniques like protein expression and purification
