What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct historical research by processing and interpreting a variety of archival media
- Provide written summaries and analyses for faculty research projects
- Develop historical research reports for book projects and articles
- Perform diligent fact-checking, citations, bibliographic work, and editorial assistance
- Assist with revisions and editorial tasks on faculty publications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related History field
- Extensive experience in historical archival research
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with various types of primary sources
- Experience in editing and publishing academic work
- Knowledge of citation styles and bibliographic management tools
