What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Advance strategic research projects to generate and utilize evidence in the humanitarian sector
- Manage and contribute to the design, implementation, and thought leadership of research initiatives
- Support a diverse team to maintain a shared mission and uphold research quality standards
- Engage in policy discussions and synthesize high-impact research findings
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the NGO sector
- Experience in planning and delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects in humanitarian contexts
- Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative social science and health research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with humanitarian and/or impact research
- Familiarity with international politics and humanitarian development policies
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
- Experience with team and organizational strategy
