What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform animal work, including mouse breeding and handling
- Collect biological samples from mice for various studies
- Conduct histology and molecular biological studies on tissue
- Participate in tissue culture experiments as needed
- Organize and manage daily, weekly, and monthly duties effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a scientific field
- No prior experience required; will consider 2 years of related education/experience combined
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to independently organize tasks and recognize quality variables
- Correct vision to monitor equipment records and quality indicators
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with small animal handling
- Previous experience in lab research work
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
