What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute research activities and implement protocols under the direction of the Principal Investigator
- Recruit and maintain communication with research participants
- Collect, organize, and analyze research data as necessary
- Create and maintain research databases, ensuring data accuracy and security
- Initiate and maintain human subject approvals while monitoring compliance with ethical standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in research laboratory testing and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work collaboratively with incarcerated individuals and conduct in-state travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of human subjects' behavioral research, particularly with vulnerable populations
- Experience working with individuals living with mental illness in a professional capacity
- Proficiency with online survey software such as REDCap or Qualtrics
