What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct in-depth user research activities, including usability testing, interviews, and surveys
- Develop user personas and journey maps to guide product development
- Integrate iterative testing and feedback loops into the product development life cycle
- Plan and facilitate usability testing sessions, analyzing findings and communicating recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align user research findings with business objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of mixed methods research experience
- Proficiency in various research methods such as interviews, focus groups, and surveys
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and identify research opportunities independently
- Experience in collecting and analyzing user data to generate actionable insights
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problem areas with a diverse portfolio of projects
- Experience in using AI to enhance research methodologies and streamline analysis
- Familiarity with agile development processes and user-centered design principles
- Proven track record of mentoring or coaching junior researchers
- A proactive approach to developing research plans that incorporate diverse perspectives
