      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide direct support to the utilization management case managers
      - Conduct daily data collection as directed by UM leadership
      - Manage email communication from payors and enter requests into appropriate folders
      - Assist in escalating payor authorizations for patients going to rehab
      - Ensure accurate entry of approved lengths of stay and denial documentation in EPIC

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma
      - Minimum of 2+ years related experience in medical terminology, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), hospital utilization management, or case management
      - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
      - Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients and families
      - Excellent customer service and advocacy skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree
      - Familiarity with community services and resources
      - Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills
      - Experience in prior authorization processes
