      Resource Analyst [Resource Manager]

      INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Resource Analyst [aka Resource Manager] to join our brand team!

      We are a hybrid workplace, x2 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal.

      POSITION OVERVIEW

      We are seeking a Resource Analyst to support the Agency Operations team by optimizing resource allocation, tracking utilization, and providing data-driven insights to improve efficiency. This role will be instrumental in casting strategies, workflow visibility, and ensuring the right talent is assigned to the right projects.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Resource Planning & Allocation
        • Maintain real-time resource schedules and dashboards.
        • Track and report on team capacity, ensuring optimal utilization.
        • Partner with department leads to adjust staffing as needed.
      • Utilization & Forecasting
        • Develop reports on workload distribution, project timelines, and resourcing trends.
        • Analyze staffing gaps and recommend hiring or freelancer needs.
      • Workflow & Process Optimization
        • Help refine project intake and resource management processes.
        • Work with Agency Operations to implement best practices for efficiency.
        • Manage and optimize agency tools like Smartsheet or similar platforms.
      • Collaboration & Communication
        • Serve as a key resource to the Project Management team, Business Operations, and department heads.
        • Provide visibility into resourcing data to support leadership decision-making.
        • Support fiscal year SOW preparations and resource planning strategies.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • 2+ years experience in resource management, project operations, or business analysis within an ad agency or in-house marketing dept.
      • Proficiency in resource planning tools (Smartsheet, Float, Monday.com, or similar).
      • Proven experience in Resource Planning, Utilization & Forecast Reporting & Process Improvement.
      • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools preferred).
      • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to navigate complex resourcing challenges.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

      The salary range for this role is $68,640- $70,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: experience, training and/or transferable skills.
